So, can I just tell you how much fun these Barn Quilt Classes are? I’ve been teaching both BIG and small classes. It is a very manageable project, where everyone goes home with a finished Barn Quilt. The process is pretty low-stress, and there’s lots of time for conversation. Most will finish in about 5 hours, so when the class is scheduled for 6 hours, even the more complicated designs can be finished. The next classes are scheduled at the Stitchin’ Post on August 17 and 18. Check out their workshop and class page to reserve your seat! After that, there will be more classes in Eugene on August 23rd and 25th, send me a message to register, I’ll also advertise those on Facebook and Instagram. I teach at quilt guilds as well, so if your guild is interested, I do travel throughout the Pacific Northwest. I’m always adding new patterns, I’m sure you will find your favorite!

Barn Quilt Classes Coming Up!
I hope you’ve been following my Fb and IG (both are @Sheila Sinclair Snyder) to see the amazing results of the latest Barn Quilt classes at The Stitchin Post in Sisters! They have also posted LOTS of in-process pics!
New classes coming up this summer:
June 19: Westminster Pres. Church, Eugene, OR. Contact: ME! Please DM, or email.
July 19: Coburg Quilt Show, Coburg, OR. Contact: Coburg Quilt Show web site.
August 17 & 18: The Stitchin Post, Sisters, OR. Contact: The Stitchin Post.
I have a couple other tentative dates in the making, so I will share those as they firm up. I will also have a couple speaking engagements this summer. Come hear my story and see a great trunk show at the NW Quilters Guild in Portland on August 13th. After that I’ll be presenting at the Comforters Quilt Guild in Tacoma on August 28th.
Hopefully there will be some down-time as well, to enjoy the beautiful Oregon summer.
A Quilter’s Affair is coming, plan ahead!

Bring on summertime and the fun quilter’s retreats we’ll be enjoying! A Quilter’s Affair in Sisters, Oregon is just about heaven on earth for me and about 40,000+ of my quilting friends! This year I have the great honor of teaching these three quilts, and I couldn’t be looking forward to it any more!
Hot Ziggidy! is a fast and fun quilt, large blocks that show off your large scale prints. The pattern is a downloadable from Craftsy that you will notice on the left sidebar.
Shooting Stars is a Hunter’s Star variation where the colors drift in diagonal rows across the quilt, and it has my signature pieced border that blends so well, and is easy to add. It’s from my book Perfect Fit Pieced Borders, which you might already have, and if not you can pick it up from the Stitchin’ Post, or get it from my shop page.
Spinal Cord is an intriguing block, you’ll be surprised that it goes together as a tumbler design rather than a rectangle. This one too, has my signature pieced border which makes it very special. It’s also from Perfect Fit Pieced Borders.
There’s plenty of time to sign up for classes, so don’t hesitate. Look through the on-line catalog and choose your favorites! I’ll see you there!
