Nancy’s Notions Sewing Weekend was a blast! I did get to catch up with a few favorites, and teach a few classes, as well as spend plenty of time in my booth. It is also a great time to look at the new gadgets, accessories and machines that are “Hot Off The Press” so to speak! Sandy my host/driver made sure I had everything I could ever want, and kept me on time for lunch and my classes! I’m already missing her!
The last night I got to have a fun diner with Pam Damour and Judy Kessinger, both sewing experts. It just so happened that “Love Shack” was on the radio when our driver picked us up for the ride back to the hotel, so we opened the windows, turned up the music and belted it out with the best of them! Super-fun, hope we meet up again soon!
If you’re not already planning to be there, I am personally extending an invitation for you to attend this Sew Expo 30th anniversary event! Located in Puyallup, WA, at the Washington State Fairgrounds, it is a very large and exciting retail show that covers every sewing and quilting interest and related topics you can think up! I’ll be signing books at the Pine Needle booth, talking quilting and I just might even have a few give-aways each day! At any rate I’ll definitely have chocolate! There are classes, lectures and demos, as well as the wonderful vendors, each with something fun, unique and inspirational to show. We’ll have lots of copies of my “Get Addicted to Free Motion Quilting” available, and I’ll be happy to give you a tour and tell you all about it!
