Poking my head in today to let you know that I’ve updated my calendar for the next couple of months. Look for it, shown as EVENTS in the top toolbar.
ALSO, I have had a fun day with the guys from Boersma’s who came to town to install my new Innova Longarm! I had sold my old one, and was missing being able to quilt my own quilts. So off to McMinnville I went–it’s a very familiar shop to me as our son went to college there, so I was able to visit regularly.
And Jack. I’ve known him for so long, from teaching at the longarm conventions, and trouble shooting problems with my old machine. I just trust his insight and knowledge. So, now that the machine is here, I will have to pace myself! I’ll be tempted to be out there in the studio using it all the time! One thing is for sure, I’m really happy and grateful to have an Innova, and looking forward to showing you what I can do with it! It is not a computerized machine–though it does have a stitch regulator. I love the artistry of “drawing” on the quilt, so really didn’t want a computer. Once I get my act together (HAHAHAHA!), I’m hoping to have an open house to celebrate and show all my local friends what’s up over here!
